Line, Fill, Offset Fill, or Material Setting

The cut-mode selector controls the exported LightBurn layer type; it does not replace the remaining laser parameters in the matched setting.

Setting

Uses the cut type already stored in the selected Material Library setting. This is the default and the safest choice when the library is intentionally configured.

Line

Uses LightBurn’s line-style cut mode. Closed rectangle boundaries are processed as paths rather than conventional scan fills.

Fill

Uses a scan fill, where interval and angle are directly relevant to the hatch pattern.

Offset Fill

Uses LightBurn’s offset-fill type. Confirm how your LightBurn version interprets interval and direction for the generated closed geometry.
