Choosing an Image Processing Preset
Image presets control how Rasterizer prepares the source image and constructs, cleans, or transforms its vector regions. Choose according to the artwork and the type of geometry you want to edit or engrave.
Cartoon
Best for logos, illustrations, and artwork with deliberate flat colors. It favors clear regions and readable boundaries.
Color Photo
Designed for continuous-tone photographs that must be reduced to a limited set of Rasterizer swatches while retaining recognizable visual structure. Results depend strongly on which Rasterizer swatches are enabled and the processing pixel dimensions selected for the job.
Black and White Photo
Reduces the image to dark and light marks using a dithered photographic treatment. It is useful for producing tonal detail with a single engraved color, creating a two-color result reminiscent of a black-and-white photograph.
Abstract styles
Abstract presets deliberately reorganize or transform the source artwork into stylized vector geometry. They are creative effects, not faithful photo conversions, and each exposes controls specific to its structure.
